Students come to the computer once a week ready to work on numerous district and school mandated items.  The computer lab is used as an intervention method for reading and math. Skills worked on in the computer are a review of the skills taught in the classroom.

 Students in grades 2-4 will be tested three times throughout the year by Discovery Education (DEA). DEA allows teachers to assess students in reference to their understanding of state standards and benchmarks. It also allows teachers to see how students may score on the annual TCAP testing. Students take this test on the computer.
